CEYSSON & BÉNÉTIÈRE
Ceysson & Bénétière was founded in 2006 in Saint-Étienne, France, by François Ceysson and Loïc Bénétière, with Bernard Ceysson later joining the team as artistic advisor. The gallery has since expanded its international presence, opening spaces in Luxembourg (2008), Paris (2009), Geneva (2012), New York (2017), Lyon (2021), and Panéry in the south of France (2022). In 2025 the gallery opened its Tokyo space in Ginza, marking its eighth location worldwide and first expansion into Asia. While long committed to supporting the historic French Supports/Surfaces movement, Ceysson & Bénétière actively promotes a younger generation of artists, fostering dialogue between established practices and contemporary approaches. The gallery also operates an artist residency program alongside its multiple venues.
