Participation in Art Week Tokyo is free, although some exhibitions and events are ticketed or require reservation.

AWT BUS

The AWT Bus service is free to ride and can be boarded from any stop. Pick up an Art Week Tokyo wristband from the staff at your first point of embarkation and then show it for subsequent rides throughout the day as well as to obtain discounted admission to participating museums. Wristbands are valid for the entire day on which they are picked up. New wristbands can be picked up every day for free at your first point of embarkation.

EXHIBITIONS

Admission to all participating galleries is free. 

Admission to participating museums is ticketed. Visitors can enjoy discounted admission upon presentation of their Art Week Tokyo wristband, available for free at any AWT Bus bus stop or at information desks at the museums.

AWT FOCUS

Admission to AWT Focus is ticketed. Due to limited capacity, advance tickets are necessary to guarantee admission. General admission tickets will be sold at the door pending availability.

Advance tickets will be sold on Peatix starting in mid-September. 

AWT VIDEO

Admission to AWT Video is free.

AWT TALKS

All AWT Talks events are free to attend. Register to guarantee a seat. 

Registration will begin on Peatix starting in mid-September.

AWT BAR

Admission to the AWT Bar is free. Food and drinks are subject to charge.

YOUTH AND KIDS PROGRAMMING

Participation in Art Week Tokyo’s youth and kids programming (info in Japanese only) is free with advance registration. All programming is conducted in Japanese. More information will be posted online closer to the start of Art Week Tokyo.

CHILDCARE SERVICE

Childcare service is available at AWT Focus for a fee with advance registration. More information will be posted online closer to the start of Art Week Tokyo.
