PHILIPPE PARRENO
French artist Philippe Parreno is known for making immersive installations integrating film, sound, and automated mechanisms—including AI—into scenarios where the exhibition itself becomes a medium. As a result, his work invites visitors to rethink their assumptions about their own agency and perceptions. Parreno has been a frequent visitor to Japan in recent years after serving as the artistic director of the Okayama Art Summit 2025 and holding a large-scale exhibition at the Pola Museum of Art, Hakone, in 2024. This solo show with one of Tokyo’s leading galleries for Conceptual art builds on that fruitful creative dialogue with the country’s art scene.
TARO NASU
Taro Nasu was founded in 1998. The gallery represents conceptual artists including Futo Akiyoshi, Koichi Enomoto, Simon Fujiwara, Ryan Gander, Liam Gillick, Maiko Haruki, Takashi Homma, Pierre Huyghe, Ryoji Ikeda, Taiji Matsue, Mika Tajima, Michiko Tsuda, and Lawrence Weiner. Beyond its regular program, Taro Nasu also works with international art museums and public agencies to organize a range of other exhibitions and events.
