IHJ CULTURAL LOBBY INTERDISCIPLINARY TALKS: DAY 1 (COLLATERAL EVENT)
The International House of Japan is hosting two new editions of its IHJ Cultural Lobby Interdisciplinary Talks series on the occasion of Art Week Tokyo. Led by curator Yuko Hasegawa, the talks bring together leading practitioners from different fields to discuss key issues in contemporary culture.
Talk #9: Japanese Anime and the US Economy
Animation producer Ten Washio and journalist Morley Robertson discuss the ties between the current US economy and the entertainment industry, with a focus on how they impact Japanese animation. The talk will be conducted in Japanese with English interpretation.
