This year’s expanded edition of the AWT Focus exhibition platform invites 10 Japanese and international curators to organize special projects at spaces across Tokyo. In this related event at the historic Sogetsu Kaikan, Mark Rappolt, the editor-in-chief of ArtReview and ArtReview Asia, will speak with guest curators Maria Brewińska, Ekow Eshun, and Multiple Spirits about dialogue, experimentation, collaboration, and Japan’s place in the international art world. The conversation will be followed by a choral performance organized by artist Julianknxx as part of his AWT Focus exhibition, “How Much Light Must I Consume?,” curated by Ekow Eshun for space Un.
