Jeremy Strick is an American museum director known for his leadership of contemporary art institutions. From 2009 to 2024 he was the director of the Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas, where he organized exhibitions featuring artists such as Jaume Plensa, Rachel Whiteread, and Alexander Calder. Prior to joining the Nasher, Strick served for more than nine years as the director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. Under his direction, MOCA gained international recognition for holding major retrospectives and thematic shows highlighting artists like Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Takashi Murakami. Strick also oversaw the opening of MOCA’s Pacific Design Center and expanded both the museum’s collection and membership. Earlier in his career he held curatorial roles at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Saint Louis Art Museum, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.
