Exhibition Information
Will Rogan
October 17 – November 14
In this exhibition Will Rogan will ask, “What is the physical work?”

For a time, Rogan was living on a houseboat on the port side of San Francisco, where he made pins and sculptural badges recycling the wood from his boat under the name “Sunset Club.” Now based in Vermont, he continues to make works from repurposed wooden scraps. In this exhibition, Rogan will exhibit a series of works that are somewhere between sculpture and painting.

Despite being exhibited in the space of painting (on the wall), and even being painted, the works themselves are made up of a more sculptural, wood-cut process. The exhibition will express the beauty of something material and the symbolic quality of “objects.”
