Kaikai Kiki Gallery was founded by artist Takashi Murakami in Tokyo in 2008, when it began introducing artists managed by Murakami to a Japanese audience. Through the management of artists and the sales of artworks, Kaikai Kiki Gallery creates a social value of art. The gallery also provides opportunities for internationally renowned artists to exhibit in Tokyo, while at the same time contributing toward the development of the Japanese art scene as a whole.

Kaikai Kiki Gallery represents artists including Mr., Aya Takano, Chiho Aoshima, ob, Emi Kuraya, MADSAKI, TENGAone, Otani Workshop, Yuko Ueda, and Shin Murata, while international artists such as Kasing Lung and Futura have also been invited to hold exhibitions at the gallery. Kaikai Kiki Gallery will continue to showcase works by various artists from both local and international contexts, and will continue to serve as a catalyst for connecting society and art.
